Selecting Ex Post case studies

Selecting Ex Post case studies

Ex-post case studies are carried out on an ongoing basis.

How to launch a new ex-post study ?

1. Initial dialogue. The decision to carry out a new ex-post case study begins with a dialogue between the ASIRPA team and the relevant department.

2. Selection from success stories. Ex-post case studies are selected among the department's "success stories". These recount the story of successful academic research whose results have brought not only scientific advances but also benefits for society. Such studies make it possible to analyse the processes that led to these impacts.

3. Feasibility assessment. First, the department's management teams, the scientific leaders of the case to be studied, and the ASIRPA team test the feasibility of the study. To do so, ASIRPA provides a short decision-support tool in the form of a brief questionnaire.

4. Close collaboration and report writing Then, the department's impact representatives and the researchers work in close interaction with the ASIRPA team to produce a report that will provide numerous lessons learned and promote the research that was carried out.
